How can I enable designers to create and add products on a Shopify website?

I am looking to build a website using Shopify in which

  1. designers should be able to create their own designs on t-shirts, mugs, etc

  2. The created designs should be added to the product catalog

we will be able to take care of the manufacturing and delivering the products when any customer places an order. What should we do to achieve 1 and 2?

It’s great to hear you’re interested in building a website. As I understand it, you’d like designers using your website to be able to create their own designs to be printed on products that you then fulfill, and you’d like to add those products to your product line too.

What you’re looking for is a very bespoke setup and not something that would be possible natively within Shopify. It will no doubt require a combination of third-party apps and custom development. For example, you may enlist the help of apps like:

And you will definitely need to consult with a developer unless you are a coding expert yourself. We actually have a Shopify Experts directory, listing third-party developers who can make custom changes to your store on a contracted basis. They may be able to develop a custom solution for you or may have access to an already existing integration that I’m unaware of.
