How can I enable the 'Buy It Now' button without direct payment?

Hi there, can someone help me please. I’m trying to figure out how to enable the buy it now button when i desactive the Dynamic button checkout option there’s no direct payment on the page but only add to bag. I wanna know if this is a problem with the shopify payment because i tried on Dawn theme too it’s the same problem. If you could help me i will really appreciate

Hi, @Essentique47 . I’m happy to help you out with this! Do you mind if I ask why you are deactivating your dynamic checkout button? I just want to make sure I’m understanding fully so I can give you helpful advice.

The “Buy it now” button is the unbranded version of your dynamic checkout button so if you deactivate your dynamic checkout button, the “Buy it now” button will be deactivated as well. If you don’t want this button to be active, your customers can still checkout by visiting their cart first. If you’d like customers to be able to skip the cart and go directly to the checkout from a product page, you would want to keep the dynamic checkout button enabled within your theme settings. You can find more information about the dynamic checkout button here, if you’d like to learn more.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

process for the customer he can add to his bag or make a quick purchase by

Stick add to cart the ‘buy it now’ doesn’t appear either. I will provide
you a screenshot of how it’s appeared vs what i want

Hi, @Essentique47 . Thank you for sharing all of that context!

What you are describing is the way this button is expected to work. The dynamic checkout button is meant to dynamically change based on your customer’s preferred accerlerated checkout method. The exact button that appears to a customer depends on a number of factors, including the payment methods you’ve set up and your customer’s browser and device. If no preferred accelerated checkout method is determined, your customer will see the unbranded version of the button, which is the “Buy it now” button you mentioned. If a preferred accelerated checkout method is determined, your customer will see a specific branded button based on their preference. This could be PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, or Venmo. If a customer sees a branded version of the button, but wants to quickly checkout using a different option, they can still do so by clicking the More payment options button. All of this is explained in this guide on dynamic checkout buttons.

I’m happy to help if you have more questions!

Hello, I am coming into this topic with the same problem which i can not solve. I can fully understand what Essentique47 is having problem with. I am facing with the same issue.
So, now I have two buttons on my product page Checkout and Dynamic buy now button, is there any way I can change it to be Checkout and Buy now button, I dont want it to be a dynamic button because my clients are searching for Buy now button and they can not find it, they have to click on small letters More payments options to arrive at the checkout page. If i try to deactivate the dynamic button it just removing the button and leaving me only with Checkout button. I hope someone can help facing this problem.

“If a preferred accelerated checkout method is determined, your customer will see a specific branded button based on their preference.”

That’s not true. I have an email associated with the shop app for purchases, but I’ve never set up or used Shop Pay. For any Shopify site purchase, I’ve always entered in my credit card details manually or use PayPal. However, whenever I test my site, because it recognizes the email I’ve used for shopping, I’m always shown ‘Buy with Shop Pay’. When I click on that button, the checkout page displays this email address and then asks for my number.
