I am working on the shipping prices on my website but still working on a few kinks. I have 4 shipping profiles for flat rate shipping on like sized items, but if two items from different shipping profiles are added to the cart, both shipping costs are added, where I want it to default to the more expensive shipping cost. I tried added the other items to multiple shipping profiles, thinking it would default to the correct shipping cost, however you can only have one profile to each item. Im SURE there is a way to fix this, I am just not sure how.
Just an example, I sell stickers where the shipping is set for $1, because they can be sent in a small envelope. I dont want to charge more than that because its just a sticker. However I also have painted pots, where I need to ship in an actual box, cushion to prevent breaking, etc, so shipping is set for $15. If I have a stick and a pot in the same order, shipping comes out to $16, where I would want it to just be $15.
I have 4 shipping profiles all set for appropiate pricing for their items, but added together could results in a $25 shipping charge when it does NOT need to be that high and I worry this will deter customers (I know for me it would).
Any help is welcomed!
