How can I get color variants to show in Dawn theme?

We have just set up our second Shopify Store using the Dawn Theme

We hava a few products with color variations. We have entered the varients, but they don’t show up on the site for the buyer to select.

I have seen a couple of solutions to this issue for other themes, but not for the Dawn theme.

Can someone tell me how to fix this!

Is there an example that you can share? Most often this isn’t due to a particular theme but rather JavaScript/code errors that may have been introduced via apps or direct edits.
If you can’t share a link do look at console logs in your browser as that may give some clues as to where the issue is coming from.

Simple Bundles

Sticky Add to Cart Button

and Tractor

Hi,

I have the same issue, did you get a solution?

On computer platforms the variant selector shows white background with white text so customers cannot see the variant item unless they hover on the dropdown selector, however on mobile devices the variant selector works.

I realise this is an old post, but might help someone out. After ages trying to work it out, finally found this - I assumed it would display automatically, but turns out I had to add the variant picker manually.

Go to Product>Product Information>Add Block>Variant Picker.

I found one solution, you don’t need to do any coding thing,

simply go on theme customization → Default Product → Product Information → check this option “Hide other variants’ media after selecting a variant”.

What does it do?

This option will close the carousel slider because in the dawn theme we can select a variant from picker and button. so after checking the above option, this issue will be solved.

I have Dawn 4.0.0 and this doesn’t exist "Go to Product>Product Information>Add Block>Variant Picker. " any other suggestions for this product?

Thank you so much! I’ve been searching everywhere to try to find out how to get the secondary/variant images to show up as thumbnails. I knew it had to be somewhere.

Hey, yeah i figured it out, it was one of the apps, i dont want to say publicly which one as its a handy app and i only have one product with variants, the pills selector works, though the dropdown selector doesnt works with that app, id give you a hint starts with S (please dont say it publically as they do great work)
