How can I give my online store a fresh start?

Hey

I’ve used Shopify for 10 years.

Had diff. themes, hired people to edit code and do customizations.

Now I’m updating to a new theme (colorblock) and adding shopify 2.0

But my site is slow, Unused Javascripts, and my page navigation seams messed up.

Is there a way to start fresh. Remove everything and startover?

Hi,

You can update the theme from start but if you have many apps installed on your store, the speed will be slow surely.

You need to keep in mind some things to maintain the site speed

  1. Reduce # of Apps
  2. Lazyload Images
  3. Use Compressed Images.
  4. Minify JS/Css
  5. Use Google Tag Manager etc.
