How can I hide a collection from my website's search function?

I am trying to hide a collection from the search function on our website - I only want it accessed via the link - I need it not searchable.

Is there a way to do this?

With a metafield like products?

Hello @AmberWilkinson which theme you are using ? as every theme has different structure.

We need to add the code into search page which conditionally hide the specific collection from search. If you can tell the theme name I can check the code.
