I am using the Shopify debut theme for my website (www.gacstop.com). I am very much concerned about my website load speed in mobile and desktop versions. As per google speed test mobile version performance is 30 and Desktop performance is 83. Comparatively, desktop performance looks much better. But most of my website visitors are from mobile devices.
I deleted apps that I don’t use anymore and now I use only 4 apps. Now, most of my pictures are 1000px by 1000 pix on average and they are in JPEG format. After this optimization, my desktop version and mobile performance improved a little bit, but I want my website performance on both desktop and mobile at least 90 and above.
Can you please share what I can do to improve my website performance? I don’t have a big budget to hire professionals, got a very tight budget. How much would it cost to hire professionals to optimize a website?
By the way, I want to know your website speed on both desktop and mobile.

Follow up on this, I removed unwanted apps and residual app codes. Now my website desktop version is in green zone around 90 score. But mobile version is still around 30-35. Please check attachment.
@Wahab_Ahmad Thank you for your feedback. I will definitely start working on compressing images. However, as per the google speed test, it’s not the image causing the slow down of the loads but some unused java and CSS. I have attached a snapshot below.
After reading through and checking through your website link here are some tips that can help
Choose A Lightweight Shopify Theme (Original Data)
Choosing a fast Shopify theme can immediately put your website in a great position from a performance standpoint. Some themes might come with unnecessary bloat out of the box, putting your site at a performance disadvantage. Conversely, a more lightweight theme will set your site up for strong performance moving forward.
Reduce large image
Resizing large image assets can be one of the best ways to speed up a Shopify site. When evaluating a lot of Shopify sites, we’ve noticed that many businesses have a propensity to use large numbers of images. This makes sense since images are a staple of eCommerce stores. This is even more true in verticals such as retail where images are a necessity to highlight products.
Compress Large image
Images can also be unoptimized when they are not compressed. It’s very common to see Shopify stores where no compression has been applied to uploaded images which leads to larger image sizes than are necessary
• Lazy Load Images
• Limit Third Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
• Migrate Tracking Codes To Google Tag Manager
• Run Your Store Through Google PageSpeed Insight
