Hey Everyone!
We recently launched our online store for our perfume brand. It’s our first time making a website and we really want it to be as aesthetic as possible. Could you guys review it and give us some feedback? We’d really appreciate it.

Hi @ProfumoTech ,
This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
I’m genuinely impressed, especially knowing you’re just starting out. Your site has a stylish flair while remaining clean, clear, and professional. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions to improve your website design and conversion rates:
1. Add the CTA Button for your hero banner
A strong CTA is essential for hero banner ads design, as it motivates your viewers to click on your ads and move further along the customer journey.
2. Leverage Social Proof and Testimonials
Including customer testimonials, ratings, or reviews prominently on the home page and product pages can significantly boost trust and credibility. This social proof can be a powerful motivator for new customers to make a purchase.
3. Refine Layout and Navigation
The website could benefit from a clearer, more intuitive navigation structure. This includes organizing the menu more effectively and ensuring that essential information like shipping policies or return policies is easily accessible. You should have direct links to it.
4. Incorporate Material-Themed Image Overlays or Hover Effects
For example with your product EZRA Made with Saffron & Tobacco:
Use image overlays or hover effects on the product images that highlight these ingredients. When a user hovers over the EZRA perfume image, an overlay or a secondary image could appear, showcasing the Saffron and Tobacco elements. This could be done through visually appealing graphics or photos of the raw materials, possibly with short, informative captions about their significance or quality. This approach not only educates customers about the product’s unique aspects but also creates a more engaging and informative browsing experience. It emphasizes the premium nature and unique selling points of the product, potentially increasing customer interest and the perceived value of the perfume.
The new year is coming so it is good for you to start the new year campaign:
For the New Year campaign, you should focus on engaging customers through interactive experiences, personalized recommendations, and social media contests to boost engagement, drive sales, and increase brand visibility during this festive season.
Below are some ideas for the New Year campaign that you can use for your store:
Launch an engaging online campaign where customers can discover new fragrances for the new year. Introduce an interactive “Fragrance Finder” feature on your website, where customers answer a series of questions about their preferences, occasions, and personality. Based on their responses, the tool recommends specific perfumes that match their profile. This personalized approach can intrigue customers and encourage them to explore new scents, potentially leading to increased sales. Accompany this with a limited-time discount or special bundle offer on recommended fragrances to incentivize purchases.
In the days leading up to the New Year, create a daily reveal campaign. Each day, feature a specific fragrance with a special offer, such as a discount, free sample, or complimentary gift wrapping. Enhance this campaign with engaging content like fragrance stories, ingredient highlights (e.g., focusing on unique components like Saffron in the EZRA perfume), or customer testimonials. This daily excitement can build anticipation and keep customers returning to the site, increasing the chances of multiple purchases.
Encourage customer engagement and brand visibility with a social media contest. Invite customers to share photos or stories of their favorite moments with your perfumes on social media, using a unique hashtag (e.g., #ProfumoNewYearScents). Offer enticing rewards such as exclusive discounts, a year’s supply of fragrances, or the chance to be featured on your website. This campaign can generate user-generated content, enhance community engagement, and attract new customers through social media exposure. Combine this with a New Year-themed email marketing campaign to reach a broader audience.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful in optimizing your website’s conversion rate and design. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Happy New Year 2024! Let’s make this year the most rewarding one yet for your businesses.
Best regards,

Hi ProfumoTech,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
First of all, your site looks quite wonderful and well-made. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:
Adding more description. It is difficult to purchase perfume online without really understanding what it smells like. Expanding your description and describing the scent can help the buyers imagine. Include visual images or videos that describe the scent. In a way, you are selling a story, a lifestyle, more than a bottle of perfume.
Connect Social Media. If you already have a growing Instagram account, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.
A bit more about who you are. Why should people buy from you instead of all the other perfume brands? What makes you special? What is your story?
Connecting online with offline. If you have a showroom / physical store, make sure to always be telling your customers about your online store, adding a quick card with your online store address provides your new customers a chance to purchase again without coming to your physical store.
Testimonials. Try to showcase at least 5 testimonials on your site. Whether it’s from friends and family, or your offline store customers. Having some social proof helps boost consumer confidence in your site.
Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
Hope this helps!
