Hi @DMick27
This is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning and professional, and I can tell youâve put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing low sales can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, Iâd love to give you my suggestions as hereby:
HOME PAGE
1> Add CTA button to your hero banner
You can add a CTA button here to lead your visitor to your feature product / collection, etc.
2> Add more Add to cart buttons
The Add to Cart button is the most critical thing we recommend you include. Users will be able to fill up their shopping carts in one session and then complete the purchase transaction without entering the product page. It will undoubtedly increase your conversion.
3> Have a Secondary Hover Images:
There are few strategies you can use for your secondary hover images:
- âLifestyleâ Thumbnails:
- âCompatibilityâ Thumbnails
- âFeature Calloutâ Thumbnails
- âProduct Variationâ Thumbnails
Secondary hover images will help customers see different views of the products so that they can easily gain trust and make Buying decisions.
4> Use different background color schemes for different sections
Currently, these 2 sections have the same background color. Color-coding sections will allow your visitors to subconsciously group content together. In this case, itâs hard to highlight the product section.
5> Include direct links in the footer to the âShipping Infoâ pages.
Users, in my opinion, need to know about the siteâs return policy and shipping choices before making a purchase decision. It might go in the footer or in this Shipping Details link. Usersâ need to learn about the return policy is directly linked to shipping information â how much would they lose on any non-refundable shipping expenses if they have to return a product? In fact, some consumers value shipping information so much that they want to know what shipping alternatives are available to them before they commit to purchasing a product.
PRODUCT PAGE
1> Include Both the User Rating Average and Number of Ratings
When it comes to online shopping, customer reviews are crucial. PageFly makes adding testimonials and product reviews to your page an ease.
2> Use Both âBullet Listsâ and âBlocks of Textâ for Product Descriptions
By providing bullet lists, simplified summaries of product and feature information, bullet lists are an ideal way of delivering product information to users quickly and easily.
But bullet lists, on the other hand, are often shallow and, as a result, frequently prompt users to inquire about product features and terminology. When users need more information about a product, they will almost always turn to text blocks.
3> Display a minimum of 5-6 reviews by default, with the ability to âLoad Moreâ
As previously mentioned, reviews are extremely significant when making a âBuyingâ decision; hence, showing 5-6 reviews as defaults will not only increase your brandâs credibility, but will also keep the page responsive.
4> Add recently-viewed section
You might consider giving all users (including those who arenât signed in) access to a history-based recently viewed things list, and allowing them to change it. For a variety of reasons, users may desire to revisit previously seen content.
For example, throughout both mobile and desktop testing, people frequently wanted to return to a product theyâd seen before simply to reevaluate it after having looked at and rejected other options. Users will become bored and dissatisfied if it is too difficult to refind previously viewed things, and they may decide not to buy anything at all.
Site Speed
Page speed is extremely crucial for both buyerâs experience and Google ranking, so you could consider Shopify themes made to help you boost Google page speed score for your store such as Blum, Refresh, DawnâŚ
Hope it helps and happy selling!
Warm regards,
Richard | PageFly
