Hello friends!
I want to include instagram on my shopify shop. I’m using a free template. Which app can be usefull for me?
Thanks!
Hi @MariaJose ,
Nick here from Shopify.
Instagram changed their backend recently and having Instagram feeds natively in websites/stores isn’t possible, so an app is the best direction forward for you here. There are a number of Instagram feed apps in the Shopify App Store with a lot of them having free plans too! Let’s take a look at some of them below:
- Instafeed, Instagram Feed Shop
- Instafeed - Instagram Feed
- Instagram Feed + Stories
- Section Feed - Instagram
Hopefully, you can find one you resonate with and matches up with your store!
Hi @MariaJose,
It’s really great to use UGC to grow your website. Instagram also allows you to add its feed on the website but with this, you can only add a single feed at a time.
But Shopify has many apps that allow you to add an Instagram feed to your Shopify store.
Try the “Instagram feed” that I found here at “https://apps.shopify.com/tagembed-widget”. It’s really fine and easy-to-use for everyone.
Hope you would get the desired solution.
Thanks
Hey @MariaJose and everyone still looking into this in 2025!
Just jumping in here to update the thread with a currently working option since Instagram has made a few more changes lately, and some older apps or embeds don’t function the same anymore.
If you’re using a free Shopify template and want a simple way to include an Instagram feed, a good option right now is Elfsight’s Instagram Feed app. It connects directly with your Instagram account and gives you a bunch of layout and filter settings: plus, no coding needed.
Of course, Instafeed and others mentioned above are still solid too, it really comes down to the layout you prefer and how much customization you want.
Just make sure whatever you use is up-to-date with Meta’s latest API policies so it keeps running smoothly.
Hope that helps someone who’s running into the same question now!
Cheers,
Elfsight Team
