Hi, can anyone tell me , how we can increase our Shopify store speed?

It’s a general question , not related to any specific theme!

Speed is critical for a good customer experience & to get more conversions. It also helps with Google Ranking. If you look at it from the Shopify dashboard you’d want a score over 70.

Some tips to increase speed without getting into code include:

  • Reducing image size (you can use tinypng.com before uploading)

*not using Page Builders (like Shogun)

*Deleting unnecessary apps

Could you please tell me what need to change in code? Which file?

Any speed checker tools?

You can use https://pagespeed.web.dev/ by submitting your store URL. Google will then give you code options to change.

The files will depend on your store theme. If you plan to try yourself I’d recommend to copy your theme and try changes there before doing it in the LIVE store.
