How can I limit product name length in Retail Barcode Labels App?

Hi there,

I am busy working in the “Retail Barcode Labels” App and have set up some templates.

However, our Variant and Product Names are realllyyyy long.

The first line on the label is fine (where I have opted to show the Variant name). So when the Variant name is long it just adds … at the end and doesn’t show the remaining bit of the variant information.

However, on the second line I want the SKU code AND the Product Name to show, and when the Product name is too long it should not kick off the SKU code, it should also just stop showing the Product name after let’s say 32 characters - then followed by the SKU.

Is there a way this can be done please?

Hello - did you ever get an answer to this? We have small labels (1" x .85")and everything gets cut off on the name and variant. It drives me nuts I end up handwriting the variant on each label. And there’s still a bunch of blank space on each label - at least 1/2 of the label is wasted. Appreciate any feedback!
