How can I link a subdomain to my e-commerce site?

Hi all,

I currently have a website on Showit that my domain is pointing to. I would like to have my Shopify store at the same domain but with something like mydomain.com/shop or shop.mydomain.com. Does anyone know if it’s possible to hook up a subdomain to Shopify when the original domain is hooked up to another site?
