I’m working on my store, and I’ve encountered a problem related to proper linking. By default, Shopify doesn’t link the vendor name, which in my case serves as the clothing brand. Manually linking it to redirect to the relevant collection would require setting up over 50 different themes, and separate themes for garments created in collaborations between designers.
Of course, I don’t want to do that, and I’d prefer to have just one theme responsible for proper linking.
Here’s the idea: I’d like the product’s brand name (e.g., Jordan) to be displayed above the title, and when clicked, the customer would be directed to the Jordan collection, where all products from that brand would be displayed. I need to ensure that the brand is immediately linked to the collection. Additionally, I’d like to have the option to add two brands in case the item is designed by two designers. This should be displayed as shown in the example below (with two brands separated by an “x”).
I’ve tried experimenting with metafields, but to no avail.
I’m not sure about linking two different brand names by X tho.
