How can I list color variants as separate products on a single page?

Hello,

So I have one product with 8 color variants and 2 size variants. And basically I have one product, but I want to list all color variants as products, like making featured product section, but when a customer chooses any of the color from this section he’s redirected to a product page with preselected color.

I know, that I can create 8 products with same color and size variants, but I wonder if it’s possible to have one product. I hope someone understands my question :slightly_smiling_face:

So what you’re saying is that you want to display each color as a “different” product. But, like you said, when the customer chooses any of the color, he’s redirected to the product page with the color preselected?

I think it’s possible with the variant object, but you have to do some custom work in order to get what you want. I don’t think Shopify has a built in section or block that will achieve what you are trying to attain here.

So in short you want to link multiple different products colors to a single products and when the colors are selected it is redirected to their respective color product page ?

Here’s my suggestion :blush: :

  1. Create each color as a separate product, with each product containing only a Size option.

  2. Use the Easify Product Options app to establish cross-product linking between your products, utilizing the Option URL feature and Image/ Color Swatches option type.

  3. Create an option set within the app for each of your products. These option sets should be similar, differing only in the default selected product and assigned product.

Below is an example of the same T-shirt but in different colors. The Color option is created within the app for cross-product linking, avoiding the need to create Color as Shopify variants. Although on the storefront, it might appear like switching among regular Shopify variants, in reality, it’s seamlessly switching among different products with distinct colors.

You can customize the settings per collection to show or hide specific variants, filter variants, or separate them by specific options. For example, you can create a “Gold” collection and display only gold-related variants
