How can I modify the loading style of my Impulse theme slideshow header?

Hello!

We do not like how the slideshow takes so long to load and shows in a gradient black to white style before the image appears. Is there a way to make the header static? If not is there a way to change the colour to a block colour and also the little line slider?

I can see on this website - https://merchantsofthesun.com.au/ - they have been able to change the background to black and the little line slider to white.

@MareeAnnCo - if you do not want slider then you can check single image section from customize settings,

to change background to black, we need css, can you share your page link?

What you are seeing is a loading icon. This can be done inside your theme editor and needs a custom code

Please see below screenshot of what we dont like -

We dont want there to be a black to white gradient behind the slideshow. There is also a loading icon that appears before the image is displayed. Is there a way to remove the gradient and just make it a solid colour?

yes, please check your theme setting its allow to disable option
