I am trying out the Narrative theme for the first time. Everything looks nice and clean BUT then I discovered the product page…
I would like to get the product image on the left side and description quantity, add to cart button etc. on the right side next to the image (just like the brooklyn theme), but with the same caracteristics of the Narrative theme.
Any advice on what to do here?

Yes it is possible. You need to drag the from code and with the help of CSS.

I went ahead and reached out to our themes team on this query. I have been informed that it would require a major coding change that is not supported using our free design time for Shopify themes.
It may be possible that one of our community members may be able to assist you further with the change. However, I wanted to provide you with another method. You can reach out to a Shopify Expert if you are interested in hiring an individual to make the corresponding change to the Narrative theme.
With that being said, you can as well look into using another free Shopify themes that does have the product description and add to cart button displayed beside the product image. Here are some examples I have found:
