Right now my checkout button is just a black box with no text or/text that is visible and wanted to know how to add text/change the color so you can see the words

Could you please share your store url and the protect password? I will help to check it?
I guess the text color and background button are the same now.
May I suggest to update code these steps:
- Go to Store Online-> theme → customize button

Theme Settings-> Checkout
-
Change text color to other color or change background.
