I am trying to have a pop up in the checkout page that says, “As a thank you for your purchase, here is a free bonus product. Just pay shipping” I was looking at upsell apps but I don’t know how to change the pricing to show free and a price listed for shipping. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
You can use this App “Upsell All In One — SellMore” to solve your problem. It has pre purchase upsell funnels and post purchase upsell funnels to offers products. It has an option to give discount so you can setup 100% discount if want to give free with a product.
