I’ve been locked out of my shop entirely, Shopify claims 2 factor authentication was setup but that’s not true. I was able to get into the app but updated my password and that’s now impossible to get into as I don’t have any codes to use to loign.
After reaching out via support & through Facebook all channels have told me “too bad” and I got my bill today, so why in the world would I pay for a shop I can’t get into?
Yes, I’ve offered to have them call me, email the email associated with the store, anything but no they won’t do it!
So, answer me this Shopify…how am I supposed to access my store now?

Once you are connected with our support team they will ask some information about your store and then they will need to escalate the ticket to our account team for verification and removal of the two factor authentication from your store. This portion will be done over email as our standard support is not able to make those kinds of changes.
