Hi today I closed a shopify development store, moved everything on a paid plan store with another account.
Bought the final domain but when I google my website it’s still only showing up the development one with myshopify.com next to its name. What can I do?
It just means that Google hasn’t recrawled your old site yet.
No action needed by you, it will get removed from search results eventually, I’d imagine within a week. Since it was a dev shop and not a high traffic site, it doesn’t get crawled as often.
This concept applies for many things search engine related - changes don’t happen instantly.

Thanks for posting to the Shopify Community! The previous response you received is correct. It does take Google up to 14 days to re-crawl your site and remove it from search results. To speed up this process you can utilize Google Search Console and resubmit your sitemap!
