Hello. I want to delete public app from my partner dashboard since I am planning to end app’s service, but I cannot find the delete button in the app setting page. This app has already listed in the app store and has active user. Is this relevant to disappearance of delete button? Can anyone please guide me?

Hello,
You should be able to delete your app with these steps:
- Go to the partner dashboard and view the list of your apps
- Click on the app you want to remove
- On the right menu, click on App Setup
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete this app
That said, I’d recommend delisting the app from the app store first, then waiting a while before actually removing the app.

Happy to help, to make an app private you can do the following:
- Open up the app in the partner admin
- Click on Distribution on the left menu
- That will take you to a page that looks like this:
- Click on Manage Listing
- Click on App Visibility on the top menu
In the popup window that appears you can set your app to be hidden or visible on the app store

There is no delete option bro, site got updated.

I see the ‘Delete this app’ button for some of my apps but not all of them.
I’m not sure what’s causing it to show up or not. One idea would be to check to make sure the app is unpublished from the App Store and then seeing if the button appears. If not, you might need to reach out to Shopify support to figure out why it’s not showing.
Please check your role on the Partners Account. There is a possibility that you are not the owner of that partners account. You are a team member with no access to Delete an App.
In that case, you might need to ask the account owner to give you access to delete an app.
