is there a way to get rid off the express-checkout on the checkout-page, I already saw many videos/posts on how to hide the additional-checkout-buttons, but those only apply on the cart-page, not on the checkout-page tho
is there a reliable app, or code to hide it on the checkout-page?

If you’re comfortable working with coding, then you can try following our guide here: Remove The Express Checkout Buttons From First Checkout Page (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). However, as this solution depends on the theme you’re using, it’s not guaranteed to work 100% of the time.

I’m using Debut-Version 17.14.1
and the link you provided me hides the express-buttons only on the cart-page,
but I need them to be hidden on the checkout page, those are two different pages..
maybe there’s an external-third-party app someone can recommend, or a similar solution to solve this issue

The instructions for hiding the express checkout buttons on the first page of checkout starts in Step 2 on the shared guide, Remove The Express Checkout Buttons From First Checkout Page (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay). However, this solution doesn’t work on your theme, then don’t hesitate to reach out to our Theme Support for help with this customization.
That being said, if you prefer using a third-party app to hide the express checkout buttons, then you can also use something like Poof: Hide PayPal & Skip Cart or EasyHide PayPal in checkout. If you need any help with these apps, then the app developers are always available to assist you - you can reach out to them directly through the contact information found in the Support section of their app pages.
