I have a ecommerce shop and I’m working on having another website on here to set us my family’s business. Figured since I knew how to make my shop, i could do this. But I’m struggling a bit. I want to be able to have pictures and text on all pages but it’s not as simple as i thought, since this is particularly for ecommerce shops. Currently using the default theme “Dawn”, i like the set up of the “Collections List” and how it displays an image with text underneath that leads you to another page. The only problem here is that i do not have products for sale, but for display. I’m having trouble getting rid of the product grid so i can have something to present. Any tips? I saw that people could mess around with the liquid code of it but i don’t know. Maybe another template with different options? Anything would help. Thanks guys
Congrats on starting your next website for your family business! That’s great to hear.
My advice here would be to invest in a premium theme that will allow you to tell the story of your family business in a more suitable way and display your products without them necessarily linking to an “add to cart” style product page.
Take a look at theme Creative, it has a section called Multicolumn with Images that I think will work perfectly for you.
