How can I successfully import Etsy reviews into Ryviu?

I have tried several import apps and none of them seem to work with importing Etsy reviews.

The file from Etsy seems to be missing crucial data for the import to happen.

Etsy exports reviews as a .json file

Even after converting it to a CSV, I am having issues.

This is my first time on Shopify. I have used Etsy for the last 3 years.

Right now the app I have is Ryviu

Any help on this would be wonderful.

As far as I know, every Shopify review app requires a csv file to import reviews from other apps or website. Each review app has a sample csv file and you have to make sure your Etsy csv file have the same columns, the same fields as Ryviu’s sample file.

I believe you can find the sample file in the app. If not, please contact the app provider for more support!

I would suggest using a third-party app to accomplish this. There are a variety of apps in our Shopify app store that will allow you to import your Etsy reviews into Shopify. There is one app called Etsy Reviews by Reputon that I suggest because it doesn’t require any exporting of reviews into a file. You simply connect to your Etsy account from within the app by entering your Etsy user ID and then it allows you to display the reviews in various widget designs on various pages of your Shopify store.

Is it displaying the reviews on each product page or as a specific widget, like “our reviews on Etsy”?
Are the reviews added the other product or Website reviews?
