We’ve been having some issues with our product feed and would really appreciate your support to resolve this issue.
We use Shoptimised to manage and optimise our client’s product feeds and have since uploaded the newly optimised product feed into Google Merchant Centre (GMC). When doing this, we need to remove the Shopify content API feed from GMC so that our optimised feed is what is being used in ads, etc. However, when removing the GMC connection within Shopify (top of screenshot below), this also removed the Google Ads account connection (bottom of screenshot below) which means we lose all tracking across Google Ads. Is there a way to disconnect the GMC connection without disconnecting the Google Ads connection?
We’ve since re-added the GMC connection so we can continue tracking ad performance in Google ads manager. But this means that the Shopify content API feed (second feed) is still connected to GMC. Currently we’re having to manually delete the Shopify content API from GMC every hour or so because Shopify keeps pushing the content API feed into GMC.
Any help would be great
We urgently need to swap over to the optimised feed without loosing google ads tracking
