How can I update my theme version without losing content or customization?

I want to update my shopify expanse theme version from 2.1.1 to 2.5.2 without losing Content or Customization of old version

Hey @Allthingsbaby !

It is assumed that every time you add an update theme, this new version will be added to your immediately to your Ecommerce with the new changes. Ir that is not working I recommend you to follow the steps bellow:

Steps:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin
  2. Go to Online Store> Themes
  3. Pick up the theme you want to update
  4. Click on the version notification
  5. Clic Add to Theme library. This will create a copy of your original theme [theme name].
  6. Download the update theme new version
  7. Apply your new features and customisations

You can try this, if it still not working get in touch with Shopify Support.
