Hello, when I got to edit a product, it used to be the case that I could see the margin, and change the compare-at price, now it gives me this (see image below). How can I got back to the way it was before?
Seeing my profit margin by product is actually hugely important for me as our costs change all the time these days.

Our native feature for calculating margin/profit and compare-at-price under “Pricing” has not been changed as of late. If you are unable to do so on your end, it might be a browser or application update issue.
I recommend that you clear your browser of cache and cookies to then reopen your Shopify admin page once more.
If you are working through the Shopify application, you can head over to the App Store for your specific device (ex: Google Play or iOS Apps) to see if there are any pending updates to perform.
Please note that updating these fields is not possible on the Shopify POS application
If you continue to see limitations in the Pricing section of your products after troubleshooting these steps, please reply to this thread and I’ll be happy to look into this further for you.

If you will be looking for some more advanced tool for analysis of your profit, margins, COGS etc…You may be interested in Profit Analytics. We’ve been looking for some tool like this for our Shopify stores and after some analysis of 3rd party tools, we’ve developed our tool. It aggregates data from Shopify a simple CMS where you can add additional data about your products and data from meta ads, google ads etc…
Everything is going to the BigQuery database and after some calculation. We have installed this tool for some of our Digismoothie agency clients, who are happy with the dashboards in Google Looker available every day + we are maintaining the tool for our purposes and providing updates.
