We only sell to business to business in South Korea and the Shopify order entry will not allow us to convert a draft order into a sales order. It states" to save this draft order, 1 change needs to be made Enter a valid Personal Customs Code. How do we eliminate this issue
Thereâs a mandatory process for ę°ě¸íľę´ęł ě ëśí¸ when the products origin is from outside of south korea. That code is required. If youâre saying the product setup doesnât have it as coming from outside of south korea and your hitting a blocker that wonât let you proceed itâs likely something you want to talk to the shopify support crew over.
Jason, thank you for the reply, we are familar with product origin process and have been shipping to South Korea on almost a weekly basis for years. The blocker occured for the first time yesterday January 19th, 2023
Hi @Jim_Ferguson .
We are a company called Turtleship US. We help find and matching certified Korean suppliers and sellers worldwide. Not only we take care of sourcing suppliers but also shipping as well.
Let me know if we can help in terms of solving the cross border shipping issue.
You could visit our website at https://en.turtlechain.io or email us at usa@turtleship.io

Shopify was not able to assist me and they suggested we contact the shipping company UPS, they also were not able to assist.
My customer confirmed the PCC is only required for business to consumers shipment to South Korea. It is not necessary for business to business shipments.
In the meantime we found a simple work around.
When entering the order use the business customer billing address in South Korea and use your own or another address in the USA,. After the order is entered edit the shipping address to the business in South Korea
Same thing for us.. I bet that if you subscribe to Shopify plus this issue doesnât exists.. Feels like they do that to complicate B2B order process with normal Shopify..
Any one from Shopify can confirm?
