How can we opt out of Shopify SHOP app? We use a third party for checkout/subscription and it makes the info on SHOP app inaccurate. We keep having customers emailing us complaining/canceling orders because they see the inaccurate information on SHOP app. We do not have Shop installed as a sale channel. We do not know how to opt out of this. I’m considering leaving Shopify because of this alone!!

Opt out of Shop search
By default, you’re opted in to Shop search. If you don’t want to be discoverable in Shop, then you have the option to deactivate the Discovery setting. If you opt out of Shop search, then your Shop Store and products are removed from search results and Shop curations, which include local discovery.
Steps:1. From your Shopify admin, go to Sales channels > Shop.
- Click Settings.
- In the Shopping section, deactivate Discovery.
I am having the same identical problem. I do not have SHOP in my channels. Yet, customers are able to find me on the SHOP app, which shows my WHOLESALE PRICING. I am not able to figure out how to turn this off, because it’s not showing as enabled.

Hi Simona did you ever find out how to stop the customer being able to see wholesale pricing?
Have these instructions changed in 2023? I do not have Shop listed among my sales channels, yet we just had a customer tell us she found her order on the Shop app. Like Mercury24aug, we have a 3rd party app modifying orders, so the Shop info is inaccurate.
