We here at Shopify are not tax experts, so we’re unable to advise you on what sort of tax rules or obligations apply to you if you are an NGO and are looking to purchase products from businesses. I recommend that you connect with a local authority on taxes so they can advise you on what rules apply to your situation. Once you’ve determined that, and know that you wish to purchase a product from a business online, it would be worthwhile for you to connect with the business you want to purchase from directly so you can make them aware of your NGO status.
