Hi @EmperaRQPet
I am Garcia from the Shopify Advanced Page Builder App PageFly. Your store looks great, but I have some feedback on your collection page. I’d like to offer you the following advice based on my experience as a CRO.
1. Add a consistent style, effect to your CTA button
Your current Call to Action (CTA) lacks a distinct style or effect, which is a crucial aspect to address.
By implementing a clear and attention-grabbing CTA, you can significantly reduce the likelihood of visitors leaving your website due to confusion or feeling overwhelmed. Persuasive CTAs play a vital role in encouraging clicks, leading to an increase in potential leads, clients, and prospects. Therefore, enhancing your CTAs to make them more compelling and noticeable is essential for better engagement and conversion rates.
2. Resize the header and make it sticky
First, consider resizing the header to a smaller size. This change will ensure that it doesn’t take up too much screen space, maintaining a clean and uncluttered look. After resizing, you can make the header sticky, meaning it will remain fixed at the top of the page even when users scroll up or down.
Sticky headers are beneficial because they provide constant access to menu navigation, improving site usability. Customers can effortlessly navigate through different sections of your site, regardless of their position on the page. Additionally, with a sticky header, the product search area remains readily accessible, allowing for quick and easy searches without the need to scroll back to the top.
3. Edit the Recommended for you section price on product
Currently I can see that the price is not displaying correctly, and you may want to change it. Please take a look at the red box to see.
One more thing is about the product. It is a pet store, so please consider when you display these products here.
4. Blog posts ideas
For a pet store, engaging and informative content is key to attracting and retaining customers. Here are some ideas for content that could be effective:
- Pet Care Tips and Advice: Articles and videos on how to care for different types of pets, covering topics like feeding, grooming, training, and health care.
- Product Reviews and Recommendations: Share insights on various pet products like toys, food, grooming tools, and accessories, helping pet owners make informed decisions.
- Pet Health and Nutrition: Information on pet diets, the importance of nutrition, and how to manage common health issues.
- Customer Pet Stories and Photos: Encourage customers to share stories and photos of their pets. This not only engages your community but also provides relatable content for other pet owners.
If you want to write blogs, you can consider these topics for a higher conversion rate.
5. Make use of the Holiday
Creating promotions for Valentine’s Day in a pet store can be a fun and engaging way to connect with pet owners. Here are some promotion ideas tailored for this occasion:
- “Pamper Your Pet” Valentine’s Packages: Offer special grooming or spa packages for pets. Include services like a festive-themed bath, a special trim, or a unique styling session.
- Valentine’s Themed Products: Stock up on Valentine’s-themed pet products like heart-shaped toys, red and pink collars, leashes, and pet clothing. Offer a discount on these items leading up to Valentine’s Day.
- Photo Contest: Host a “Cutest Valentine Pet” photo contest on social media. Encourage customers to dress their pets in Valentine’s attire and share photos. Offer a prize for the winner, like a gift basket or a voucher for your store.
That’s my point of view. However, to identify the most effective approach tailored to their specific audience and products, individuals should consider established guidelines and conduct their own user testing. Prioritizing user experience is crucial for success in e-commerce.
Best wishes,
Garcia | PageFly Team
