As the title says, I need to change the number of photos in my collage in the home page to 6 photos. I also would like them to be slightly bigger and in an organized grid. I was hoping I can do 3 columns 2 rows on desktop version, and 2 columns 3 rows on mobile version.

It would be hard to solve this just by CSS, the alignment of the images seems to be way off. We would need access to the theme code. I could suggest you to create it as a task on our app and I can have a look. The first task is free in the app.

From my understanding, the number of variants you may add to a collage is controlled by the theme you picked. Dawn for example, allows up to 3 variants. There’s a way to work around this. My recommendation is to create a mutlicolumn element. This should give you a more uniform look, example as below:
Go to your Shopify Theme Editor from Shopify Admin > Online Store > Theme > Customize. You may add column (Left) to adjust how many image you wish you show. On the right-side panel, you may:
Alternatively, if you wish to have more customization, give Page-builder app a try - it allows you more flexibility in page layout. Hope you find this suggestion useful and happy building!
