Godaddy is requesting I confirm my Shopify website for an SSL certificate by adding a directory in the highest-level directory of the website and adding a txt file with a specific ID code. How would I go about doing that?
Shopify provides your site with a SSL cert. Are you sure you need to do this with GoDaddy?
I am unfamiliar with the rules of SSL certificates. My boss requested it as Godaddy has one. I don’t really know if I need the SSL certificate from Godaddy. So if Shopify provides an SSL certificate then I guess we don’t need one from our domain provider.
