Hello everyone I just downloaded Shopify. I’m trying to open an online store. I’m having trouble finding my way around the site. I’m wanting people to be able to go on my site buy something. Then I can go straight to the manufacturer buy it and then they send it out. That way I don’t have to deal with any of the inventory. Is anyone else doing this and can you tell me who your going through for inventory.
This is called drop shipping. The ideal situation for you could be if you just set up the product on your Shopify catalog and each time you get an order, it gets automatically forwarded to your manufacturer.
Some things to think about?
- Can they do B2b fulfillment?
- What kind of product are you talking about?
- Is it just one single manufacturer?
