Brand new here. Trying to get into drop shipping. No idea where to even start. Have not set up website yet.
Hey, @Ksanchez .
I noticed that you’re a new member of our Community forums, welcome! Thanks for bringing your question to us. I’m more than happy to make some suggestions.
To gather a little bit more information, what type of products are you interested in selling? Dropshipping is a great business model as it allows you to start an online business and sell products without having to purchase the stock before the customer makes a purchase! When you dropship, your customer will make a purchase on your storefront and in turn, the product is purchased from the third party and shipped directly to your customer. This is a great strategy for eliminating the initial cost of inventory.
Oberlo is one of our merchant’s favorite dropshipping options. It’s one of the easiest dropshipping processes for Shopify stores. When a customer buys something in your store, Oberlo fulfills the order automatically. All you have to do is double-check that the order details are correct and click the Order button. The product then ships from the dropshipping supplier to the customer, no matter where they are in the world. Check out this awesome resource for more info: What is Dropshipping?
Another popular option is to use a Print on Demand service. This is similar to dropshipping as it is a fulfillment model where you don’t hold your own inventory. However, with print-on-demand options, you can customize your products with your own images, text, logos, etc. In this article, Top 10 Print on Demand Companies, you will find a list of sites that are free to start with and require you to pay only for the cost of the product and shipping after someone has placed an order.
If you have any questions, please let me know! I will look forward to hearing back from you regarding the type of products you’re hoping to sell.
Thank you. I will be selling different products. Clothing, outdoor products, cooking products, etc. I’m assuming Shopify will walk me through the steps. Starting website, how to transfer products, how to set up payment options?
I would suggest to try Yoycol: On-Demand Print & Drop Shipping Service for E-commerce
Yoycol offer a wide range of print-on-demand products. They can provide complete dropshipping service for customers, and the linking with Shopify may promote sales. Probably there’re some discounts for new users.

Hi @Ksanchez ,
Welcome to the community! Have you already setup your store? If you have, what niche were you thinking of selling?
If you don’t have any idea yet of what to sell and still looking for the right niche, I’d recommend you check us out at Blanka. We specialize in private labelling Beauty/Cosmetics products for now but we’re looking to expand. We are also the direct supplier of the products so you wouldn’t have any headache when it comes to any order issues. Why your own branded cosmetics you ask? Well, have you heard of Kylie Jenner’s cosmetics? We provide something similar to that.
Reach out to hello@blankabrand.com if you have any questions!
