How do I make my dropdown menu go from transparent to white?

Hello! My dropdown menu is transparent and I would like it to be white?

I used a code from another member but it didn’t work and got the error:

“Correct the errors to save your custom CSS.”

This is the code I used:

.site-nav__item:hover .site-nav__link, .site-nav__item:hover .site-nav__dropdown-link {
background: transparent !important;
color: #ffffff !important;
}
.site-nav__item .site-nav__dropdown-link {
background: transparent !important;
color: #ffffff !important;
}
.site-nav–has-dropdown .site-nav__link–underline::after {
border-bottom-color: #ffffff;
}

I just don’t know what the error is.

This is Kate from PageFly - Landing page builder, I’d like to suggest this idea:

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
Step 2: Asset->/base.css->paste below code at the bottom of the file

details[open]>.header__submenu {
   background: white;
}
