Just what the title says. I have found answers for people using other themes, but I can’t quite seem to figure out the right coding for Studio. I have added a mega menu, but I would also like the top level links to be clickable. How do I go about doing that?
Hi @deadrosesuk Sanest method is to put the wanted item in the menu itself.
Or for any top level item meant to be a link just have only that entry in the menu NO submenu distractions.
Otherwise that’s an advanced theme customization to do properly.
In generally merchants should avoid trying to be UX interaction designers unless they have the setup to ab-test and prove it’s beneficial for customers and not causing bugs and lost revenue.
Inspect some of the websites that have done this.
When done poorly as most the time it is because it’s done cheaply it makes the submenu unreachable.
At minimum an overcomplicated UI is confusing, and trying to get around the click/redirect issue by using hover to open a megamenu just adds to confusion by doing things like block content without a clear way to get back to the content etc etc etc ad nauseum.
Merchants that have the budget to do this customization and test it properly can contact me for services.
