How do I remove prices from Google Search ?

Hello, we are running a wholesale website, and do not want the prices to be available to the general public without a particular login. We have an app running that removes pricing info without a login, but somehow the google search pages can still bring up pricing information. I searched for a solution where they suggested placing this bit of code:

<!--googleoff: index-->price code<!--googleon: index-->

However, I don’t know where to put it, specifically. Everywhere I try to insert it, it does not do what is described. If anyone can help me to remove these prices from the google search page I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you solve this issue? How long did it take for Google to remove the prices?

Managed to fix this by removing our inactive ‘Google Store’ from Shopify. It took a while for all products to be changed as google has to re-index the website - hope this helps someone as I searched for ages looking for answers.
