Hi Experts!
I would like to remove the button and all text on my home page slide show and still keep the photo animation. How do I do this? Please see below in red. I want to do this on each slide.

Please add the following code at the bottom of your assets/styles.css file.

Depending on the theme you’re using, removing the button and text from your homepage slideshow is super easy. I’m more than happy to walk you through the steps:

From your Shopify admin head to online store > themes > active theme > customize. This will open your theme editor.

On the left of the theme editor there will be a list of sections that make up your homepage. Can you see one that says slideshow?

Select slideshow then select the slide you wish to amend.

Scroll down a little and you should see the heading text, sub-heading text, and button text. Simply delete the text and hit save!
The above instructions are based on my knowledge of how many free Shopify themes work. However, if you are using a third-party theme that you purchased, the settings may be a bit different. If the above doesn’t work for you are you able to let me know the theme you are using?

@dmwwebartisan I tried the solution that you had originally suggested, but my theme – Dawn 3.0.0 – does not have a styles.css file. I tried to add the code snippet to the base.css file, but it didn’t work. Any suggestions?
in sense theme, how do i remove the shop now button and its white border on homepage slider?

The border of the button is still visible here, is there a way to remove it completely so you only see the image and a visitor to my site can just click the image?
