How do I remove the purple shop pay and pay now in the checkout?

You can disable Shop Pay from your store by going to Settings > Payments > Shopify Payments > Manage. From there, scroll down to the Shop Pay section and you’ll be presented with the option to uncheck the Shop Pay selection as seen below. This will remove the Shop Pay option from appearing on your store, so customers won’t be able to checkout using this method.
Please note that only account owners are able to access the Shopify Payments settings of a store, so if you’re a staff member you’ll need to speak with the account owner so that they can update this setting on their end.
Out of curiosity, is there a reason why you’re looking to remove Shop Pay from your store? If you don’t already have other accelerated payment methods enabled on your store, it’s a good idea to consider activating at least one. Implementing one is a great strategy to help improve conversions, as it allows customers to easily and quickly complete payment for their order on your store.
