How do I verify my domain for a FB and Instagram shop?

I need help verifying the domain. It says that I should copy in the html code, but I can't find out where.

To verify your domain for a Facebook and Instagram shop, follow these steps:

1-Access Domain Settings:

  • Go to Business Settings in your Facebook Business Manager.
  • Under Brand Safety, select Domains and click Add to add your domain.

2-Choose Verification Method:

  • Facebook provides three methods: HTML file upload, Meta tag, or DNS TXT record.

3-Add the Meta Tag:

  • If you choose the Meta tag option, Facebook provides a code snippet.
  • Copy the tag.

4-Insert Meta Tag into Your Website:

  • If you’re using Shopify:
  1. Go to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click Actions > Edit Code: https://prnt.sc/e2RRNKGplQEn
  3. Find the theme.liquid file.
  4. Paste the Meta tag inside the section of the file.
  5. Save changes.

5-Verify:

  • Return to Facebook and click Verify Domain.

This will verify your domain for Facebook and Instagram.
