How do you modify the label for items on sale?

I would like to modify the badges for products that are on sale. Right now, on the badges, it only shows SALE. I’d like to have that change to the percentage of discount that the product is at.

So for example, if a product is on sale at 20%, id like to have a badge that says 20% off.

I have no idea if that is something that can be done automatically or if I have to manually add the badges to these products myself.

I know there are some apps for this but I was just wondering if there was another way.

can you find “card-product.liquid” file in your theme snippet folder?

We can add the custom badges by customizing the code. If you are using apps it will affect your store speed and also need to pay monthly charges.

Hi Ahsan,

Couldn’t find card-product.liquid in the snippets folder, but I found product-badge.liquid.

Is that the right one?

Yeah thats what I figured,

That using an app for badges would slow down my stores speed.

Thats why I thought of asking here first:)
