Dropshipping is a method where the merchant sells goods by working with a supplier that manages the inventory and handles the shipment for you. The merchant will give the consumer’s purchase and shipping information to a third party, like a manufacturer, wholesaler, or retailer, who will then distribute the product to your customers when an order is received. While maintaining control over the price that buyers see in your Shopify store, you pay the supplier the wholesale price.
Since dropshipping eliminates the need for product manufacturing, inventory management, and shipping, it is relatively friendly for merchants who have just started their online business.
