I am using a few dropshipping apps through Shopify and received an order. The order shows as fullfilled in my Shopify app. Do I go to the dropshipping site and pay for the order or has it been paid and fullfilled?
Hi @fruityrumgirl ,
Thank you for getting in touch. Can you tell me which dropshipping apps you are using on their store?
If you’re using Oberlo, for example, you’ll want to make sure that you do not have your store settings set to automatically fulfill orders. This is because automatically fulfilling your orders in Shopify will not automatically fulfill the order within Oberlo—you still need to purchase the product and fulfill the order that way. If you have automatic fulfillment enabled on your store when these orders came in, you can cancel the fulfillment and then proceed with fulfilling the order with Oberlo.
There are a number of different dropshipping apps that merchants can use, and while I can’t say how order fulfillment works for all of them I would presume that the same logic applies.
Hi,
Thanks for the Information. I use appscenic and syncee.
My shopify order said shipping was sent to the customer .
I really appreciate you helping me!!
Hi @fruityrumgirl ,
Okay, thank you. If you have automatic fulfillment set on your store then it may well look like the product has been fulfilled and sent to the customer, but you need to make sure that you have paid for the product and for its shipment to your customer. Did this order contain products from both AppScenic and Syncee, or did it just contain products from one of these dropshipping apps?
