How many products can be added to a Shopify collection? Is there a limit to it? I am thinking of adding a few hundred in a collection but before I do it, I want to know before I start.

@Zworthkey is absolutely right! You can certainly add an unlimited number of products to a collection.
Are you looking to create an automated collection or a manual collection? Automated collections will add products automatically once the conditions are set up. Whereas manual collections require you to add products individually.
At the moment, there is a limit of 50 products per page for when your customers are viewing your online store. This is due to Shopify’s collection limits. You’re still able to add as many products as needed within your Shopify admin. However, I do have a workaround for you as you’ve mentioned that you are looking to add a couple hundred products within a collection.
The app Advanced Collections allows you to increase the limit of products added within a collection, setting specific conditions, setting a date and inventory conditions and much more. This will allow you to set your own collection conditions so you’re able to add more than the 50 product limit.
A second option is the app Custom Collections Builder that allows you to specify the size of your collection, apply filters to the collection, and create specific collections based on most visited products, most sold products, most rated products and much more!
