How to add custom scripts on checkout using extension

Hi,

Could any one help me on this?

In my Shopify Plus store checkout.liquid file there is third party URLs and custom JS code is added. So the checkout.liquid file is going to deprecate. So where I can add these third party JS URLs and custom JS script code? I am trying to do this with Shopify Checkout UI extension but it didn’t work me. Also I tried the web pixels extension still didn’t work.

Hi @chandni-handa ,

Have you tried adding the snippets directly in the Checkout through a Custom Liquid block? You can add one from the Theme Customizer.

With Checkout Extensibility, you should be able to use the Checkout Editor to add the code. It’s part of the update and not related to checkout.liquid at all.

Could you please share any example to use the Checkout Editor to add the code? So that I can implement on the Checkout UI extension.

You need to reach out to a professional able to develop a custom app or use an app to add a block in the Checkout Editor. Using that custom block you can use your code.
