Hope everyone is having a good month and ready for Christmas.
I was hoping to get some help in adding more buttons to our home page slideshow if possible. At the moment it allows for two buttons only but i’d ideally like to add more.

If you are associated with coding in the simplest of forms, you can do this. So copy paste the button feature, obviously you should understand how to read code and modify code.
It’s simple but it might not be for you and also that you will need code editing for this.
The theme you’re using isn’t free, so we can’t check the specific code.
Please find the slideshow.liquid file or something similar. Look for the slideshow code and copy the button code.
As shown in the image, copy it to two buttons.
For example, in the Dawn theme, there is a slideshow.liquid
file: example.
Find the button code: example
Double it: example.

unfortunately I cannot see similar code within our theme to do this. This was the first thing I tried but kept getting errors. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply anyway.
I can help you to do that, but you need to access your theme to customize the code. So, if you want, please let me know the collab request code of your store so I can help you.
Offt that’s a bit harsh there. This forum is for people to get help, and majority of people are happy to leave helpful comments. Definitely associated with code but having trouble with just this part and it’s not standard. Code copy and paste was the first thing tried.
Might seem harsh but there are two things that does need considerations. Sorry if sounds harsh but it is how it is.
Firstly you are on a paid theme, so just giving code from any theme might throw bugs in your theme that is why we need access to your store and to be honest shopify has a very good feature here where you as store owner gets to decide what permissions to give so it is you who is in control.
Secondly, everyone is trying to earn something for themselves its not that shopify here pays or appreciates developers in any way for helping store owners for the time and effort. We will be glad to just share code and suggestions but some things need more permissions.

Your grievance with Shopify and not paying / appreciating developers for their time is not my fault, it’s your choice to be on here. People seeking help here do not deserve insulting, unhelpful comments from you because Shopify doesn’t make you feel appreciated enough.

I will for sure apologize for it, if this felt rude. Will not blame you for this it did sound rude I think I got it wrong here when you said that it’s not the standard.
I am in no way trying to insult you or anyone here. I just kept a point and to be honest I actually am pretty happy here in the community since i landed a few clients on from here and also feels great to help people out. I don’t have a problem with anyone nor Shopify.
