How to add multi payment icons in ella theme.

My client want to add multi payments icon only in footer bar but i cannot find in ella theme where i can upload image in footer bottom section. Need help on it. Thank you

Hi @Asad712 !

Most themes has an option to add active payment methods under the >theme settings >show payment icons. You do not need to add icon photos. By activating this theme feature, it will automatically adds the active payment methods on your footer section.

To add multiple payment icons to the footer in the Ella theme, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Shopify admin dashboard, then navigate to Online Store > Themes.
  2. Click on Customize for your current theme.
  3. In the Theme Editor, look for the Footer Group tab on the left-hand panel.
  4. Select your desired footer template. Ella provides multiple footer templates that provide different set of elements. Choose Footer 03 to get the payment icons.
  5. Under the selected footer (e.g., Footer 03), you will see a section labeled Social with Payment.
  6. Click on Social with Payment to adjust the payment settings:
    • Enable Show Payment to display the payment icons.
    • You can adjust the Margin Top to position the icons as needed.
    • Customize the Heading (e.g., “Payment accepted”).
    • Under Payment Type, you can choose between Default or Custom:
      • Default: This will pull the payment icons directly from your store’s payment settings.
      • Custom: Here, you can manually select or upload custom icons, like the ones shown in your image (e.g., HBL, JazzCash, EasyPaisa).
  7. If you select Custom, scroll down to choose the payment methods your store supports and add or uncheck icons as needed.
  8. Once everything is set up, click Save to apply your changes.

This method should allow you to display the payment icons in your footer section as requested by your client.

Hi Shubham,

Thank you for the detailed instructions. I have checked them but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a solution to upload or search for the payment icons as needed. Additionally, I don’t want any icons appearing below the selected payment options.

Could you please provide further guidance on this?
