I need help with putting in USA shipping into my Shopify website. My company is based in Canada and I want my customers in the USA to be able to make online store purchases. I have created a new shipping zone and put USA for that zone however my USA customers are not able to make purchases as Canada is the only country that comes up when checking out.
Please help me solve this. I’ve read and watched a bunch of different things but nothing helped.

First, you’ll want to make sure you have added the state/ region within the USA you are using at checkout. When you add the USA to a shipping zone, you’ll see that it’s split into 62 “states”:
These 62 states will include the 50 states of the United States, territories (e.g. Puerto Rico), and armed forces locations (e.g. Armed Forces Americas). You’ll want to make sure you have all the states selected you wish to ship to, including the state containing the address you used at checkout.

Did you happen to get the USA added as a shipping zone to your online store? When you are creating new Shipping Zones, we will want to make sure that we are adding this to the General shipping profile to allow the rate to display to your customers once they navigate to the checkout from that location.
If you can confirm that you have added the USA as a shipping zone to the general shipping profile, we may need to make some adjustments to the shipping rates. As for example, if you add a shipping rate that will display if the order is above $20 USD then we will need to add a rate that will display for the customer if the order is below $20 USD.
A great suggestion that will help encourage your customers to make a purchase is to create a free shipping rate and let your customers aware of the savings by adding the information to the announcement bar.
